Four Red Raiders named Midseason All-Americans

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech's David Bailey, Romello Height, Lee Hunter and Jacob Rodriguez were each named a Midseason All-American this week, as Texas Tech is 6-0 and No. 7 in the AP Poll after week seven of the college football season. The Athletic, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and the Sporting News each released its respective midseason teams.

Rodriguez was named to all four organization's teams while Bailey was named to three of the four (Athletic, CBS, SI). Hunter was recognized by CBS Sports and The Athletic, and Height was honored by Sports Illustrated.

The Red Raiders' defense heads to Arizona State this week with a defense that ranks in the Top 10 in scoring defense (12.2), total defense (256.8), rushing defense (62.5), and third-down conversion defense (27.3).
