Red Raider duo ready for ITA Conference Masters

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech duo of Niksa Arsic and Thiago Guglieri head to the ITA Conference Masters tournament in San Diego from Nov. 6-9 to compete against top talent from around the country for a spot in the NCAA Doubles Championships.

The last time this Red Raider duo hit the courts was at the ITA Texas Regionals in College Station, Texas, where they advanced to the finals before falling to the No. 28-ranked duo of Zsombor Velcz and Connor Van Schalkwyk of Baylor, 6-3, 7-6 (4). During their doubles run, Arsic and Guglieri defeated top talent, including No. 75-ranked duo Petro Kuzemenok and Santiago Navarro of Rice, 8-6.

This is a key tournament for the Red Raiders as three doubles teams will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the Conference Masters (champion, finalist, third place).
