Uter lowers school record in 400m

Uter now owns the top 1-3 times in Tech’s all-time top 10
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Senior 400m sprinter Shaemar Uter highlighted the final day of the New Mexico Collegiate Classic running a 45.54, lowering his previous school record of 45.59.
In only his second competition appearance this season – ran the first leg of the 4x400 in Arkansas last weekend – Uter opened his 400m season with Tech's fastest time yet. His time of 45.54 now sits No. 1 as he owns the No. 2 (45.59) and No. 3 (45.68) times in school history.
Success Umukoro shined in the 60m sprint, taking second with a time of 7.16 – good for No. 7 all-time in Tech's top 10. Over in the women's 60m hurdles, Naomi Krebs took second overall with a time of 8.11. She went 8.21 in the prelims and 8.13 in the semifinal.
The men's pole vault was led by Sam Hurley who cleared 5.45m (17-10 ½) for second place. Jackson Bragg cleared 5.30m (17-4 ½) for sixth place.
