2025 Season (Junior/3rd Yr.):
• Was limited to just five appearances due to an early season injury
• Pitched just 3.2 innings
• Made his season debut at New Mexico (Apr. 8)
• Tossed two-thirds of an inning against Baylor (Apr. 12)
• Did not allow a run in a scoreless inning of work at ACU (May 13)
• Made his final appearance of the season at BYU (May 17).
2024 Season (Sophomore/2nd Year):
• Made 20 appearances and a start in 2024
• Recorded a record of 1-1 with one save in those 20 games
• Fired 29 innings and struck out 36 batters for a team-best K/9 of 11.2
• Whiffed at least one batter in 18 of his 20 appearances
• Struck out three in two innings against No. 9 Oregon State (Feb. 21)
• Whiffed three in two shutout innings at New Mexico (Mar. 5)
• Struck out a pair in 1.2 innings of work against No. 24 Texas (Mar. 10)
• Struck out three in three perfect innings to earn his lone win of the season in the series-clincher against BYU (Mar. 23)
• Recorded all four outs via the strike out in the Red Raiders 10-9 win over Stanford (Apr. 1)
• Struck out a season-best four batters in his next appearance against Houston (Apr. 5)
• Had two strikes outs in two scoreless innings in the 7-1 win at TCU (Apr. 12)
• Recorded his first-career save in the 3-1 win over No. 22 West Virginia (Apr. 21)
• Struck out two batters in 1.1 innings of work against Oklahoma (May 4)
• Fired arguably his best outing of the 2024 season, throwing an inning-and-a-third of hitless baseball with three strike outs in the Red Raiders 6-4 win over Texas at the Big 12 Tournament.
2023 (Freshman/1st Yr.):
• Made five starts in 12 appearances as a true freshman
• Finished 2-3 with a 5.48 ERA in 23 innings pitched
• Recorded his first collegiate appearance and strikeout on Feb. 24 vs. Western Illinois
• Earned a win in his first career start against Air Force (Mar. 1) where he tossed three innings of one-run ball and struck out three.
• Recorded a career-high six strikeouts in his first career Big 12 start at Oklahoma (Apr. 16)
• Earned a start against No. 2 Florida (June 5) in the Gainesville Regional, striking out four in three innings. He allowed just one run.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Corey Benavides at Friendswood High School in the greater Houston area … received 5A Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Second Team All-State pitcher honors in 2022 … named a 2022 All-Galveston County Baseball First Team pitcher … was the 2022 All-Greater Houston Baseball Pitcher of the Year … received Friendswood High School Male Athlete of the Year award in 2022 … … helped lead Friendswood, with aid of Friendswood teammate and now Texas Tech teammate Dylan Maxcey, to its first appearance in a state championship in program history … Friendswood took the runner-up finish, falling 2-1 to Georgetown in the 5A state championship game – was responsible for title game appearance delivered a start in state semifinal game allowing just five hits and two earned runs over six innings as the Friendswood prevailed, 4-2 … team finished with a 30-8-1 overall record … ended his senior season with a 1.65 ERA over 76.0 innings of work … collected 89 strikeouts against 33 walks but then lowered his ERA to 1.13 during the historic playoff run … was a Collegiate Baseball Preseason High School All American … overall high school record was 17-4 … played summer ball for Marucci Elite under Ronnie Thames … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Texas A&M and Texas.
