Heads into the fall in a rotation with Rajon Henley and Richard Jones at the tackle and noseguard positions.
2006 - Went down with an injury prior to the 2006 season and was unable to participate in any of the team[apos]s games.
2005 - Played in six games, but was an integral part of the defensive line rotation ... gained valuable experience as role should increase in sophomore season ... finished the season with four tackles, including two at Texas ... opened the season with one in the win over Florida International ... also had a stop against Kansas State.
2004 - Redshirt season.
High School - Everman High School in Everman, Texas ... No. 53 overall prospect in the area (Dallas Morning News) ... First-Team All-State Class 3A (Texas Sports Writers Association) ... First-Team All-District 8-3A (Dallas Morning News) ... Area Top 75 (Fort Worth Star-Telegram) ... posted 89 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and two sacks during junior season ... tremendous strength and great mobility ... pure defensive tackle ... solid run stuffer and pass rusher ... totaled 400 in the bench, 600 in the squat and 550 deadlift ... 5.2 in the 40 ... also recruited by TCU and SMU ...
