2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Once again a strong contributor in the backfield and in the passing game as a sophomore โฆ appeared in nine games with two starts, missing three games during Big 12 play due to injury โฆ missed the Baylor (10/12), Kansas State (11/23) and Texas (11/29) games โฆ totaled 340 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground on 72 carries โฆ averaged 37.8 yards per game and 4.5 yards per carry โฆ on the receiving end of 22 passes as well, totaling 138 yards on 6.3 yards per reception โฆ rushing and receiving numbers were very similar to final numbers from his 2018 true freshman campaign โฆ finished second on the team with 796 all-purpose after also splitting time as one of the Red Raidersโ main kick returners โฆ actually was the team leader in all-purpose yards per game, averaging an impressive 88.4 yards โฆ led the team with 13 kick returns, two more than teammate KeSean Carter โฆ also boasted the most kick return yards (318) and the highest kick return average (24.5) โฆ posted at least 70 all-purpose yards seven times on the yearย โฆ IN NCAA RANKINGS: ended the year ranked 25th in average kick return yards (24.5) and 84th in total kick return yards (318) โฆ IN BIG 12 RANKINGS: led the league in kickoff return average โฆ was also eighth in total kick return yards and ninth in all-purpose yards per game (88.4) ...
