An Oklahoma City native, Barrett joins the Red Raiders after helping Millwood High School to back-to-back state championships. As a senior, Barrett averaged 17 points per game in a season where his team won its final 20 games for its second straight Oklahoma Class 3A State Championship. A 6-foot-4 guard, Barrett also averaged 16.4 points and 7.4 rebounds as a junior.
On the EYBL Circuit, Barrett averaged 9.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game with Mokan Elite. A three-star recruit, Barrett was originally committed to Ball State and also held offers from UT Arlington and SIU Edwardsville before signing with the Red Raiders. He is ranked as the No. 48 shooting guard in the 2026 class by 247Sports and will join the program this summer.
