JUNIOR SEASON (2019-20)
Stewart competed in three tournaments during his junior season with a top-10 finish and helping the Red Raiders to a Big 12 Match Play Tournament title… He earned his top showing by finishing sixth at The Prestige by carding a 5-under (72-68-68 – 208) playing as an individual in La Quinta, California… At the Big 12 Match Play Tournament, he went 4-0 including earning a pair of victories on the final day claim the championship… Stewart finished the season averaging rounds of 72.00.
Prior to Texas Tech: Stewart transfers to Tech after playing two seasons at the University of Missouri... Finished as the runner-up at the English Amateur stroke play and third in the African Amateur stroke play... A Scotland native, Stewart played in 20 tournaments for the Tigers and led the team in eight tournaments as a sophomore... He finished second at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate at 8-under-par and secured four top-10 finishes in the 2018-19 season.. Stewart earned third-place at the Grand Canyon Invitational at 7-under after posting an opening round 64... Finished his second collegiate season with 10 rounds in the 60s... Recorded two top-5 tournament showings as a freshman, including a runner-up finish at 7-under at the Missouri Tiger Invitational...
