Voted a team captain and appeared in 15 games for the Red Raiders … played in five Big 12 games and one of Tech’s NISC Regional matchups … reached base three times in 13 plate appearances for an on base percentage of .231 … fourth on the team with two hit-by-pitches and also drew a walk on the year … recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage at second base with two put outs and two assists … scored her lone run of the season in a win against Northwestern State (Feb. 24) … recorded a sacrifice, a put out and two assists at No. 3 Oklahoma (Mar. 25) … Second Team Academic All-Big 12.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017)
Made 12 appearances with nine starts at second base before an injury ended her season early… recorded 20 plate appearances on the season … tallied four hits, two RBI and two runs on the year … notched her first career hit and RBI against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 26) … compiled her first multi-hit game at Iowa State (Mar. 24), finishing 2-2 with two runs scored, a walk and a stolen base … was 1-1 in stolen bases attempted … started in each of Tech’s first five Big 12 games … upped her fielding percentage to .800.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2016)
As a freshman played in five games and started two … focused on defensive play with three putouts and four assists from second base … closed the season with a fielding percentage of .778 … recorded seven plate appearances.
ANGLETON HIGH SCHOOL
Skilled middle infielder out of Angleton, Texas ... achieved many accomplishments during her high school career at Angleton ... totaled 72 stolen bases ... maintained a .438 batting average... was a three-time first team all-district ... three time second team all-county ... was a key member of her team who made it to the 2014 Regional semi-finals.
PERSONAL
Daughter of George and Kurstie Davis... has twin brother Mason and younger brother McCaulley ... cousin Rodney Steph played baseball for Texas Tech and the Cincinnati Reds ... majoring in Business Management and hopes to one day own her own business.
