Threw shot put in five meets, all unattached ... made his college debut at the Corky Classic, where he topped at 46'-4.25" (14.13m) ... top finish was sixth, which he placed twice ... PR'd at 48'-2" (14.68m) at the Texas Tech Invitational ... also threw over 48 feet at the Red Raider Invitational, marking 48'-0.75" (14.65m) ... threw 48 feet even (14.63m) at the Matador Qualifier to round out his first season.
