Ran in six meets for Tech ... ran her best 1500m of the year at WT A&M, running a 4:51.44 to place second ... also finished second in the 5000m at the Fearless Champion Open ... PR'd in the event at Bryan Clay, where she ran an 18:04.09 ... took fifth in the 1500m at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout.ย
2019 INDOOR
Ran in five meets ... started indoor career with fourth-place finish in mile at the Corky Classic ... rounded out indoor with a PRย in the mile at the Texas Tech Shootout (5:20.53) ... ran the 3000mย twice, with her best time coming at the Texas Tech Open at 10:36.56.ย
2018 XC
Competed six times ... competed at Big 12s, where she ran her best 6k of the season at 22:13.0 ... also ran at the Mountain Region Championships ... highest finish came at ACU, where she placed 14th.ย
PRIOR TO TECH
Distance runner from Richland High School โฆ state medalist in the 1600m โฆ qualified for states in cross country all four years โฆ was a first team all-state selection.

Born to Oumar and Fatou Ka โฆ has three siblings, Aminata, Alioune and Babacar โฆ was an officer for National Honor Society while at Richland โฆ member of Business Professionals of America and Battle of the Books โฆ majoring in Speech Language Pathology.
