SENIOR SEASON (2018)
Started all 29 matches in which she appeared … named an AVCA All-Southwest Region honorable mention honoree … became Texas Tech’s first player to earn Big 12 Co-Setter of the Year since the award began in 2012 … became the eighth player in Tech history to earn All-Big 12 First Team accolades … eclipsed 3,000 career assists for her collegiate career with a third-straight 1,000-assist season … finished her collegiate career with 3,501 assists, including 1,056 in 2018 … averaged 10.48 assists per set during Big 12 play and 10.06 for the season while helping the Red Raiders accumulate a .225 hitting percentage, its best since at least 2006 … Owens tallied eight double-doubles on the year to finish with 34 for her career … one of the most aggressive setters in the league, she finished with 121 kills and 1.15 kills per set on .274 hitting, her second-straight year with 100-plus kills … ranked third on the team in services aces with 16, third in total blocks with 61 and fourth in digs with 207 … four 50-plus assist matches and 15 of 40 or more … matched her career highs with three services aces at UTRGV (Sept. 14) and six blocks versus Oklahoma (Nov. 7) … posted a season-best 54 assists in Tech’s four-set win over Iowa State (Sept. 28) … had a season-high 10 kills against CSU Bakersfield (Aug. 31) with a season-best .750 hitting percentage … recorded a season-best 18 digs in Tech’s win over Kansas State (Aug. 18) … key to Tech’s 4-0 start to Big 12 play, averaging 12.00 assists per set during that stretch … finished her two seasons at Tech averaging 10.47 assists per set, which ranks fourth all-time in the Tech record books … the Red Raiders upped their hitting percentage from .179 in 2016 before Owens arrived at Tech to .219 combined the last two years … named the Red Raider Classic MVP with 102 assists, 22 digs and 16 kills on .414 hitting as Tech swept its opening tournament … named to the UCI/Adidas Invitational All-Tournament Team with 85 assists, 26 digs, 12 kills, eight blocks and two aces in the three-match event.
JUNIOR SEASON (2017)
Started all 31 matches in which she appeared in her first season in Lubbock … first Red Raider setter since 1998 to be recognized by the Big 12 … an All-Big 12 Second Team performer after finishing third in the Big 12 with 10.87 assists per set … totaled 1,217 assists on the year, which ranks tenth on the school’s single-season assists list … her second straight season with 1,200-plus assists … averaged 11.29 assists per set in the postseason to earn a nod on the NIVC All-Tournament Team and VolleyMob’s NIVC Dream Team … her 11.29 per set average ranked third in the Big 12 during the postseason … led the team with a .350 hitting percentage which ranks third on the school’s single-season list … helped Tech increase its kills per set from 12.22 in 2016 to 13.28 in 2017 … increased Tech’s hitting percentage from .195 to .213 in 2017 … eclipsed 100 kills for the first time in her career, finishing with 131 to rank sixth on the team … third on the team with 22 service aces … fourth on the team with 258 digs … fifth on the team with 51 blocks … second on the team with 12 double-doubles, including six in Big 12 play … four 50-plus assist matches and 15 of 40 or more … posted a career-high six blocks in the NIVC semifinals at TCU (Dec. 7) …. Recorded a career-high 13 kills at UTEP on .750 hitting, a clip that ranks ninth in school history for a single match with at least 12 kills (Aug. 30) … set a career-high clip of .857 against Abilene Christian (Sept. 4) … set a career high with 20 digs to go with 55 assists against Iowa State (Sept. 29) ... a week later posted a season-best 57 assists at Kansas State (Oct. 7) … named to the Clemson Challenge All-Tournament Team.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016 – Long Beach State)
Started all 31 matches for the 49ers, leading them to a 21-10 record and 13-3 Big West mark … compiled a team-best 1,225 assists and 31 service aces … ranked second in the Big West with 10.56 assists per set and helped her team finish with the second best hitting percentage in the conference at .256 … added 99 kills of her own to place sixth on the team … owned a .283 attack percentage overall … defensively had 260 digs which was second on the team, averaging 3.31 digs per set … posted 14 double-doubles on the year … set career highs in assists (59) and digs (19) at UC Irvine (Sept. 24)… led the team in assists in every match while leading it in digs twice and aces seven times … owns career highs of three services aces and five total blocks in a match … recorded 37 assists, eight digs and a career-best seven kills on .375 hitting in a win over Texas Tech (Aug. 27) in which she helped the Beach hit .404 as a team.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2015 – Long Beach State)
Appeared in the final 10 matches of the season as a serve specialist, playing in a total 31 sets ... finished tied for second on the team with 0.19 service aces per set ... made her debut vs. Cal Poly (Oct. 24) and put up a season-high four digs, plus an ace and an assist ... had a season high three service aces at CSUN (Nov. 13).
