Appeared in 21 games and made seven starts in her first season suiting up in the Scarlet and Black โฆ a left with a big arm, flashed her potential with 62 kills on the year in 185 attempts โฆ averaged 1.35 kills per set while hitting .184 for the year โฆ added 29 blocks on the year for an average of 0.63 per set โฆ appeared in eight Big 12 matches, putting together her most impressive performance in a win over TCU (Oct. 27) where she put down eight kills on .333 hitting with four block assists โฆ set a career high with nine kills at UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 7) on 22 swings with five blocks โฆ twice set career highs with five blocks, once at UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 7) and also in a five-set win over Rice (Aug. 25)ย โฆ named to the Red Raider Classic All-Tournament team after recording 13 kills and nine blocks with a .261 hitting percentage in her debut event. ย ย ย

Born December 5, 1998 to Ray and Elisabeth Janss โฆ has a brother, Nicklaus Janss, who is 23 and played golf at Sam Houston State for two years โฆ cousin, Alexandra Auker, played volleyball at Northern Illinois from 1997-2001.
