FRESHMAN SEASON (2021-22):
• Appeared in 18 games
• Made her career debut against Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 11), playing three minutes
• Scored her first career points and grabbed four rebounds in a career-high eight minutes of action against Weber State (Nov. 16)
• Contributed two points, two blocks and two rebounds in Tech’s win over Texas State (Nov. 22)
• Made her Big 12 debut at Texas (Jan. 5)
• Scored the first two points of her Big 12 career in Tech’s victory at Oklahoma (Feb. 16).
HIGH SCHOOL
• Came to Tech from the Futures Academy, based in Walnut Creek, Calif.
• Had a strong high school career, including a strong sophomore campaign in which she averaged 13.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 1.6 steals per game—then at Monte Vista High School
• As a sophomore, achieved all-league honorable mention honors and was named Most Outstanding Offensive Player, as well as the MVP of the West Coast Jamboree
• In 2019, was also a CIF North Coast nominee for the Cal-Hi All-State Team.
PERSONAL
• Wenger was born Jan. 13, 2003 in Santa Monica, Calif., to parents Andy and Andrea Wenger
• Enjoys diving and underwater photography
• Plans to major in Ecology & Environmental Biology, and hopes to one day be a marine biologist specializing in shark behavioral research.
