Following an outstanding career as a Lady Raider that concluded in 2019, Zuri Sanders played professionally in Spain for a season until 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Prior to her return to Lubbock this summer, she worked at her church’s non-profit as the youth employment supervisor. Sanders is a member of the Winning Edge Leadership Academy, founded by Maria Taylor and Corinne Milien, which is an organization that assists young individuals in sports and entertainment.
