TEXAS TECH
- Dropped to 8-2 overall this season... drop to 0-1 in neutral site games this season.
- Had eight-game winning streak snapped... marked longest win streak since 2002.
- Was shutout for the first time on a neutral field since losing against UConn last year (0-1) in Orlando, Fla.
- Closed the month with an 8-2 record... matched its most wins in the month of February (2012) since 2007 when Opening Day in college baseball was moved back to the middle of February.
- Dropped all-time record to 1,509-1,199-8 (65th season).
- Dropped all-time neutral site record to 107-87.
- Pitching staff has thrown 89 innings this season - 74 innings have been scoreless.
- Had streak snapped with at least one double in nine consecutive games... marked longest streak since 2012 (12 straight games).

Houston leads the all-time series played at a neutral site, 6-4... marked the first time Houston had shutout Tech since 2002 (L, 0-3 in Round Rock, Texas).

- Marked third consecutive start allowing just one run... has a 1.65 ERA this season.
- Two of three starts this season the Red Raiders have not scored a run.

- Made career debut... marks the seventh Red Raider pitcher to make a career debut this season.
1B Eric Gutierrez (1-FOR-3, HBP)
- Made 66th consecutive start on Friday... longest streak among active players.
- Has hit safely in 9-of-10 games this season.
- Recorded team-leading fourth infield hit this season (9th career).
- Reached base safely two times also reaching with second hit-by-pitch this season (22nd career)... set a school freshman record with 20 HBP last season.
RF Adam Kirsch (1-FOR-3, 2B)
- Extended hit streak to 9 games with a single up the middle in last at-bat of the game in the 7th inning... 9-game hit streak is longest by a Red Raider newcomer since 2011 (K. Tomlinson - 10).
CF Zach Davis (1-FOR-2, HBP)
- Made first career start in center field... is the fifth Red Raider to start in center field this season.
- Notched second bunt base hit of the season (3rd career)... recorded second infield hit this season (5th career).
PH Alec Humphreys (1-FOR-1)
- Reached on an infield single (2B) in the ninth inning... became the third Red Raider this season with a pinch hit base hit.
- Is now 3-for-11 career in a pinch-hitting role.
SS Ryan Long (1-FOR-4)
- Has hit safely in 6-of-7 starts this season.
