         Played for the Edenton Steamers in the Coastal Plains League... team was ranked as high as        No. 3 nationally during the summer by Perfect Game in the national team rankings...        finished the summer 45-15 overall while winning the first-half and second-half        championships... named Coastal Plains League All-Star... participated in All-Star Game Home        Run Derby hitting 22 home runs... set Edenton franchise record and led the Coastal Plains        League with 22 doubles... played in 46 games (41 starts) batted .269 (42-for-156) with 19        runs, 22 doubles, five home runs, 36 RBI, 23 walks, .506 slugging percentage and .372        on-base percentage.

         Adam Vincent Kirsch... born November 15, 1990, in Spring, Texas... son of Stanley and        Jolene Kirsch... has two siblings, Bryan Kirsch and Vanessa Flowers... a university studies        major at Texas Tech.
 
            Kirsch was named the 2014 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. He led the Red Raiders batting .360 (9-for-25) in eight NCAA Tournament games, including a .500 (4-for-8) average in the College World Series.
