- 32-13 overall record marks its best record through 45 games since 1999 (35-10).
- Marked its first-ever game played against a league opponent in non-conference play.
- Suffered its fifth shutout of the season.
- Fewest hits allowed (3) in a loss since also allowing three hits to Missouri in 2011 (L, 3-4 - Columbia, Mo.).
- Has scored one or fewer runs in 8-of-13 losses this season.
