- Improved to 8-5 against ranked opponents this season... leads the Big 12 with eight wins over top-25 opponents this season.
- Improved to 7-3 in games following a loss this season.
- Is off to its best start to the season since 1999 (26-8)... marks program's ninth best start in school history with a 24-10 record through 34 games of the season.
- 16 runs scored marked its most in a Big 12 road game since 2010 (21 - at Kansas, series finale).
- 16 runs scored are the most runs allowed by Oklahoma State since 2010 (17 - vs. Kansas).
- 16 runs scored are the most ever for the Red Raiders against Oklahoma State... previous high was 13 runs in 1998 in Stillwater.
- Had 10 players score at least one run each in a Big 12 road game for the first time since 2004 (at Kansas).
- Improved to 24-3 when scoring at least two runs.

TADLOCK MATCHES SCHOOL RECORD FOR FASTEST COACH IN SCHOOL HISTORY TO REACH 50 CAREER WINS
- Second-year coach Tim Tadlock won his 50th career game at Texas Tech on Saturday tying him with Gary Ashby (1983-84) as the fastest head coaches in school history to reach 50 career wins. Overall, Tadlock is the sixth Tech coach to ever reach 50 career wins. Below is a look at each Tech coach who claimed 50 career wins and how fast they accomplished the feat.

Tech has lost six straight series openers in Stillwater... win snapped a four-game losing streak to the Cowboys in Stillwater... 16 runs scored marked its most ever against the Cowboys in the all-time series that dates back to 1983... previous high was 13 runs in 1998 in Stillwater... today's win (16-6) also marked its largest margin of victory against the Cowboys in the all-time series (10 runs) - previous largest scoring margin was eight runs (10-2) in 2001 in Lubbock.

- Marked first career Big 12 start and fifth overall start of his career.

RHP Corey Taylor (2.0 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO)
- Improved to 4-0 this season while winning sixth career game.

- Hit nation-leading 16th double.
- Tallied ninth multi-hit game of the season... leads team with four three-hit games.

- Has an eight-game hit streak.
- Matched a career-high four RBI (vs. Stephen F. Austin - Mar. 18, 2014).
