The Lady Raiders took part in the "Golf Fore Africa" charity on this week along with the other teams competing in the tournament. Each birdie from the participating teams helped secure a pledge toward raising $15,000, which will bring clean water, improved sanitation, and hygiene education to one village. Tech tallied 12 birdies on Monday and has 29 through two rounds.
Tech will tee off in the final round of the tournament beginning at 8:00 a.m. central time Tuesday on holes 1-3 in the final groups alongside Furman and Wake Forest. Follow the live leaderboard at www.birdiefire.com.
