Lady Raiders Welcome No. 18/19 West Virginia

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raiders look to bounce back as they host No. 18/19 West Virginia on Wednesday inside the United Supermarkets Arena.

PARKING
Texas Tech is encouraging fans to arrive as early as possible to men's and women's basketball games due to the temporary closure to the entrance and exit of the Commuter West Lot at the Texas Tech Parkway and Knoxville Avenue. This entrance and exit will be closed from Dec. 5 to Jan. 13 for construction. Fans are asked to use the entrances and exits off Indiana Avenue when arriving from the north along with the entrances and exits at Indiana Avenue and 18th Street when arriving from 19th Street or the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Wednesday's game marks the 10th meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Mountaineers since they joined the Big 12 in 2012-13. Texas Tech trails 4-5 in the all-time series including a 2-2 record in Lubbock.

The Lady Raiders rank in the top 20 nationally in three statistics categories. The 23.4 percent 3-point shooting average by Tech's opponents ranks the second lowest in the nation. While holding their opponents to a low average, the Lady Raiders are shooting 39.4 percent from beyond the arc, the 10^th best among Division I programs.

In 15 games played, the Lady Raiders have only committed 204 fouls, the 16^th best performance in the country.

TOPPING THE BIG 12 CHARTS
Texas Tech has several players ranked in the top 10 in Big 12 action. Freshman Brittany Brewer leads all Big 12 freshmen, averaging 9.0 rebounds and 7.0 defensive rebounds in Big 12 play.

Sophomore Recee' Caldwell ranks second in Big 12 play with 17.8 points per game while junior Dayo Olabode has been on fire from beyond the arc, shooting 55.6 percent.
