- This is the 32nd meeting between the two schools. Tech and Iowa State never played before the Big 12 began in 1996-97. The Cyclones lead the all-time series, 17-14, but the Lady Raiders have the advantage in Lubbock (10-4).
- Last season, the two teams split the series winning on their own courts. The Lady Raiders snagged a 75-66 win in the first meeting before the Cyclones defeated Tech, 79-68, inside Hilton Coliseum.
