Lady Raiders Continue Big 12 Play Against Iowa State

LUBBOCK, Texas – In game two of the Texas Tech Basketball doubleheader, the Lady Raiders host Iowa State for a 6 p.m. tip-off on Saturday evening.

QUICK HITS

This is the 32nd meeting between the two schools. Tech and Iowa State never played before the Big 12 began in 1996-97. The Cyclones lead the all-time series, 17-14, but the Lady Raiders have the advantage in Lubbock (10-4).
Last season, the two teams split the series winning on their own courts. The Lady Raiders snagged a 75-66 win in the first meeting before the Cyclones defeated Tech, 79-68, inside Hilton Coliseum.
The Lady Raiders are on a five-game skid and looking for their first Big 12 win of the season. Tech fell to Oklahoma, 73-52, on Wednesday.
Iowa State enters the matchup on a four-game losing streak after falling to Kansas State, 67-60, in Ames.
