ABOUT THE LADY RAIDERS
Coming off their first loss in 10 months, the Lady Raiders are looking to bounce back against a tough TCU team this Wednesday. Led by four players averaging double-figure scoring, Texas Tech is 11-1 heading into the second game of conference play, which marks the team's best 12-game start in eight seasons.

Senior Brittany Brewer leads Texas Tech, not only the national leader in blocks with 69 so far this season, but also the team leader in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounding (10.4 rpg). Reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Year Chrislyn Carr has been big for Tech as well in her sophomore season, having scored double digits in nine of her last 10 appearances. UConn transfer Lexi Gordon has been a nice addition through six games, coming off scoring outings of 31 and 18 points in Tech's last two games. Freshman Alexis Tucker has been one of the best freshmen in the country this season, ranking second in the Big 12 in scoring (14.9 ppg and rebounding (8.3 rpg).

EYEING THE OPPONENT
The TCU Horned Frogs (10-2, 1-0 Big 12) are coming off a 65-63 road win at No. 25 Texas to open Big 12 play. The Horned Frogs are led by Lauren Heard who leads the team in scoring (16.5 ppg), assists (3.1 apg) and is second in rebounding (5.3 rpg). TCU finished non-conference play going 9-2 overall, with a 7-0 record at home and 2-2 mark on the road. Head coach Raegan Pebley is in her sixth season with the Horned Frogs and boasts a 104-73 overall record since arriving in Fort Worth.

- The Lady Raiders and Horned Frogs will be meeting for the 55th time in the series between the two programs that dates back to 1980. Texas Tech has won 42 of the previous 54 meetings in the series, but TCU has won four straight and eight of the last 10.

- Wednesday's game will be a homecoming for two Lady Raiders--Lexi Gordon and Sydney Goodson--who both hail from the DFW area. Both of Gordon's parents played at TCU, and she is from Fort Worth by way of L.D. Bell High School. Goodson is from Argyle, where she attended Liberty Christian High School.
