STILLWATER, Okla.  – The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team fell, 74-58, to Oklahoma State on Wednesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lady Raiders were led by Brittany Brewer, who recorded 25 points, eight rebounds and five blocks. Junior Lexi Gordon added 15 points and seven rebounds.

Ten points from Brittany Brewer and four three pointers helped Texas Tech erase an early 6-0 deficit to start the game. The Lady Raiders outscored the Cowgirls 24-12 over the final eight-plus minutes of the quarter to take a 24-18 lead into the second period.

The Lady Raiders withstood a mini Oklahoma State run to open the second quarter, as the Cowgirls were able to tie the game midway through the period, but buckets from Brewer and Nailah Dillard created some cushion before halftime, as Tech led, 34-30, heading into the locker room.

The Cowgirls took control of the game in the second half, outscoring Texas Tech, 44-24, to lock up the 74-58 win.

Senior Brittany Brewer finished with her second-straight 25-point game. It also marked her 13th game of five-plus blocks.
