ABOUT THE LADY RAIDERS
Looking to finish off the regular season strong as they head into the postseason, the Lady RaidÂers (17-11, 6-11 Big 12) look to continue to build momentum as they hit the homestretch of the 2019-20 season sitting at seventh in the Big 12.
Â
Second-year Lady Raider head coach Marlene Stollings boasts a deep team. Led by All-America candidate Brittany Brewer, who ranks second in the nation in blocks and is averaging a douÂble-double, and 2019 Big 12 Freshman of the Year Chrislyn Carr, Texas Tech has already experiÂenced plenty of success in 2020 which the team will look to build on over the final month of the season. The Lady Raiders finished the nonconÂference schedule undefeated for the first time in eight seasons at 11-0. Additionally, Tech picked up its first overtime win in four years.
Â
ABOUT THE SOONERS
The Oklahoma Sooners (12-17, 5-12 Big 12) enter this Saturday's contest in ninth in the Big 12 standings coming off a seven-game skid. Sitting at 9-7 at home this season, the Sooners are one of the top three-point shooting teams in the country this season, ranking 24th nationally and second in the Big 12 at 36.2 percent from behind the arc. This is thanks in large part to Taylor Robertson who leads the nation in three point field goals per game (4.38) and ranks 24th in three-point field goal percentage (42.6%). Head coach Sherri Coale is in her 24th season at the helm of the Sooner program.
