LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team puts its two-game win streak on the line this weekend when it travels to Fort Worth, Texas to finish off the season series with TCU. The Lady Raiders and Horned Frogs tip off at 1 p.m. on Saturday from Schollmaier Arena.

- For the first time since 2017, the Lady Raiders are on a win streak in Big 12 play after wins over Texas and Kansas this week. It also marks the first time Texas Tech has won two-straight Big 12 games with one or both coming on the road since 2015.

- In her three career games against TCU, Lady Raider Lexi Gordon has strung together a handful of strong performances. The senior--a Fort Worth native, whose parents both attended and played basketball for the TCU--is averaging 23.0 points and 10.7 rebounds in her career against the Horned Frogs.

- Heading into the Lady Raiders' game against West Virginia, junior Najé Murray was shooting 35.1 percent from three-point range for the season. In the last three games, she's heated up, going 6-of-11 (.545) from behind the arc and averaging 14 points per game.

The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team tallied its second-straight win and first road win of the season on Wednesday night, defeating Kansas, 75-65, at Allen Fieldhouse. It marks the program's first Big 12 win streak since 2017.

The Lady Raiders used a balanced offensive attack to knock off the Jayhawks, with six players scoring five or more points and four scoring in double figures. Sophomore Alexis Tucker finished one point off her season high with 17 points to go along with five rebounds and two steals.

Lexi Gordon scored 15 points—including seven in the fourth quarter—as well as four rebounds, an assist and a steal. Vivian Gray finished one rebound short of tallying her second-straight double-double and fifth of the year with 14 points and nine rebounds as well as a pair of assists. Naje Murray tallied her second-straight game in double figures, also posting four assists.
EYEING THE OPPONENT
The TCU Horned Frogs (6-6, 1-6 Big 12) come into Saturday's game coming off a 71-54 loss at Texas last week, following up the team's first Big 12 win of the year against Kansas in overtime last Sunday. The Horned Frogs are led by Lauren Heard who averages 17.9 points per game to rank sixth in the Big 12 and 4.8 assists per game to rank fourth. She also ranks in the top five of the conference in steals per game, averaging 2.1 per outing. As a team, TCU is third in the Big 12 in three-point field goal attempts and ranks fourth in the league in assists per game at 15.8. The Horned Frogs are led by Raegan Pebley who is in her seventh season in Fort Worth.
