LADY RAIDER QUICK HITS
- Entering Wednesday's game, Vivian Gray has proven herself as one of the top all-around players in the nation. Through 15 games of the season, Gray is the only Power Five player in the country averaging 19-plus points, 8-plus rebounds and 3-plus assists per game, while also averaging 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals per contest.
Â
- Through 15 games, Lexi Gordon and Vivian Gray are the only duo in the Big 12 to rank in the top eight of the conference in scoring. Gordon (17.1 points per game) and Gray (19.4 points per game) are two of only five players in the conference who have recorded six or more 20-point games.
Â
- Senior Maka Jackson has been huge for the Lady Raiders over the last four games. Prior to the team's first meeting with West Virginia, Jackson was averaging 4.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Over the last four games, however, Jackson is averaging 10.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists. She has recorded a season-high 11 points in three of the last four games.
Â
- With, 1,471 points for her DI career, Vivian Gray is 29 points away from becoming one of only 20 active DI players to register 1,500 career points. Perhaps more impressively, Gray has done so in only 75 games. If the senior reaches 1,500, she would be one of only two players --and the only active Power Five player--on the list of players with 1,500 or more points to have played less than 100 games. At 19.6 points per game for her career, Gray is the NCAA Division I active leader in scoring average.
Â

Gondrezick also ranks fifth in the league in assists per game with a 4.5 average. Esmery Martinez has been a force as well, averaging 12.8 boards per game, which ranks fourth in the country, and has racked up the sixth-most double-doubles in the country with nine. The Mountaineers are led by Mike Carey, who is in his 20th season in Morgantown.
