LUBBOCK, Texas – The Lady Raider basketball program will close out its four-game homestand taking on Texas State Monday night inside the United Super Markets Arena.

Last Time Out
All-American Vivian Gray made her season debut Friday night versus Lamar as she drained 16 points off the bench, including the game-tying layup to send the game into overtime. The Lady Raiders outscored Lamar 10-6 in the overtime period en route to the 72-68 victory. Rhyle McKinney added 14 points from the bench, hitting key buckets down the stretch. Meanwhile, Taylah Thomas led Tech in rebounds with six while scoring nine points, going 3-for-3 from the free throw line.

Scouting Texas State
The Bobcats make their way to Lubbock with a 2-1 record, most recently defeating UTSA on the road, 76-62. In three starts, Da'Nasia Hood is averaging 15.7 PPG, averaging six board a contest. Ja'Kayla Bowie and Lauryn Thompson are averaging 9.3 PPG apiece. Texas State opened the season taking on then-ranked No. 7 Baylor, falling only by seven (77-70).
