Saturday’s meet marks the regular season finale for Tech
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech cross country team is set to end the regular season at the annual Arturo Barrios Invitational Saturday morning hosted by Texas A&M. Afterwards, Tech will turn its attention to hosting the Big 12 Championship on Friday, Oct. 28 at the LCU Cross Country Course.

The Red Raiders competed at the Joe Piane Invitational (Sept. 30) in South Bend, Ind., on the campus of Notre Dame. In the men's 5-mile run, TTU finished fourth, while the women placed ninth. For a second-straight meet, Edward Rush and Halena Rahmaan paced their respective squads. Rush crossed the end line ninth with a new personal best as Rahmaan placed 18th.
Meanwhile, Hannah Spears and Adele Clarke each finished in the top 10 of all freshman runners.
