Red Raiders conclude Big 12 meet

Tech’s next race will be the NCAA Mountain Region Championships on Nov. 11
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech cross country team wrapped up the Big 12 Championships as the men placed sixth while the women finished ninth, Friday morning at the LCU Cross Country course.
Over on the men's side, Edward Rush paced the way for the Red Raiders placing 25th with a time of 25:15.10. Matthew Maki recorded a time of 25:34.90 to round out the top 35 runners, placing 34th.

Meanwhile for the women, Halena Rahmaan recorded a season-best 6k time of 22:02.30 as she crossed the end line 28th. Freshman Hannah Spears placed 46th with a time of 22:44.10 to cap off the list of Tech runners in the top 50.
