No. 13 MGOLF set for Ben Hogan Invitational

The Red Raiders Head to Fort Worth to participate in the loaded 15-team field
Fort Worth, Texas – The No. 13 is set to head to Fort Worth, Texas for its third tournament of the fall season starting on Monday, The Ben Hogan Invitational hosted by TCU. The 15-team tournament will consist of three rounds, two rounds will be played Monday and the third round Tuesday. Â
The Red Raiders tee off at 8:00 a.m. CT with a shotgun start on Monday, the second round will be played once the first round concludes. The third round will also start at 8:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday, it is also a shotgun start. Â
Six of the 15 teams are ranked in the top-10 of the Golf Week Rankings. While eight teams are ranked in the top-25. In total there are 14 teams that are ranked according to the Golf Week Rankings. Â
The Red Raiders were last in action Sept. 25-27, at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate where they finished tied for second as well as having two players tie for second place individually. The Red Raiders hope to continue their success. Â

Sophomore Matthew Comegys  Â
Comegys participated in the Ben Hogan Invitational last year where he finished 37th overall. Last week Comegys finished top-5 shooting five-under-par at the William H. Intercollegiate. Â
Freshman Ben GreggÂ
This will be Greggs first collegiate tournament playing with the team. Last week he participated in the William H. Intercollegiate as an individual and shot two-under-par to close out top-20. Â
Junior Calum ScottÂ
Scott participated in the Ben Hogan last year as a sophomore where he shot 68-69-70 to finish tied for eighth. Last week Scott played in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate where he shot 10-under-par to finish tied for second. Â
Senior Baard SkogenÂ
This will be Skogen's first time playing in the Ben Hogan Invitational. Skogen participated in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate last week; he finished one-under-par to close out top-25. Â
Senior Tyran SnydersÂ
This will be Snyders second time playing in the Ben Hogan. In last years visit to Fort Worth Snyders finished top-20. Last Week Snyders participated in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate where he shot 10-under-par to finish tied for second.  Â
