Notes:
- Texas Tech returns to the Jim West Challenge, where they finished the 2023 tournament hosted by Texas Tech as the runner-up. The Red Raiders shot a 29-under-par (273-290-272=835).
- That 2023 team was led by Shannon Tan and Lauren Zaretsky each finishing in the Top 10. Tan, who has since turned professional, finished as the 2023 Jim West runner-up while Zaretsky finished tied for sixth.Â
- The 2024 edition will feature 12 teams in total. Playing two rounds on Sunday, Oct. 20, and the final round on Monday, Oct. 21 both with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. CT.
- Texas Tech placed seventh out of 15 teams in the most recent tournament at the Illini Women's Invitational after battling back from ninth place.
- The Red Raiders fired a season-low team round of 7-under 281 in the final round of the Illini Women's Invitational using a collection of scores from Zaretsky (70), Klara Hurtova (70), Maja Ambroziak (71) and Danique Stokmans (70).Â
- Hurtova matched her single-round career-low in the final round, 5-under-par 67, at the Red Raider Invitational earning her second place, in Texas Tech' second fall tournament this season. It remains the lowest round carded by a Red Raider this season after the first three tournaments.
- Zaretsky, who competed as an individual at the 2024 NCAA Las Vegas Regional, leads Texas Tech this season with a 72.5 scoring average over nine rounds.Â
- Ambroziak, who owns the Red Raiders second-lowest scoring average (73.3) this season, leads Texas Tech in rounds carded below-par this season with five out of nine rounds.
- The Texas Tech staff in 2024 features Anna Dong, hired on Aug. 27, 2024. Dong was the 2023 Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year who played five seasons for Robertson.
