The Red Raiders look to build off their first conference sweep of the season against the Bears and Cougars
LUBBOCK, Texas – The 17th ranked Baylor Bears (15-6, 7-3) enter Lubbock to take on the Red Raiders (12-11, 4-7) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the United Supermarkets Arena before traveling to Houston to play the Cougars (10-10, 5-5) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Tech gets set to face its sixth ranked opponent of the season as coach Tony Graystone looks to add another ranked win to his resume.
Baylor defeated Iowa State and Colorado last week by a combined score of 6-1 and have looked to settle in after an up and down start to Big 12 play.
Houston is coming off two 3-1 wins against UCF and Cincinnati last week and sits right at .500.
Historically, the Red Raiders lead the series 52-42 but have gone just 1-9 to Baylor in their last 10 meetings. Against the Cougars, Tech is 17-33 but have split the last six matches, 3-3.
Tech will play its third straight home match for the first time since the Red Raider Classic back in September while Baylor is set to play just its sixth road match of the year. Tech has been a solid 5-3 on its home floor while Baylor has struggled away from Waco, going just 2-3.
