LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raiders are on the road for the first time this season, heading to Albuquerque, N.M., for a game against the New Mexico Lobos on Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. CT. Texas Tech leads the all-time series with New Mexico with a 17-4 record. In the game, Mississippi State shot 52.6% from the field in the 1st quarter to take a 31-16 lead. Tech's defense was stifling after that - holding the Bulldogs to just 31 points in the next three quarters and allowing Mississippi State to shoot just 29.4% from the field (10-for-34) in that frame. The game was highlighted by the second quarter in which the Lady Raiders outscored the Bulldogs 15-2 to cut their deficit to two points heading into the half.

In addition, her 17 steals lead the team and ranks 23rd in the nation and first in the Big 12.
Senior Bailey Maupin has been a consistent force for the Lady Raiders.
