Team/Event Notes:

Texas Tech is set for its second spring tournament, Feb. 24-25. Last time out, the Red Raiders were in Florida for the Paradise Invitational and finished tied for seventh as a team while sophomore Maja Ambroziak had the top individual finish with a tie for 10th - her fourth career top-10 finish.
Since Houston began hosting this event – starting the 2016-17 season – the Red Raiders have participated in each tournament the Cougars have hosted. It was first called the Dickson (2017-18) before it was changed to the ICON Invitational (2019-23) and is now the Chevron Collegiate (2024-25).
Texas Tech finished in fifth place in 2024 (16-under, 848); the Red Raiders' best finish in their trips to Houston's annual event came in 2022 by finishing fourth of 15 teams.
This is the fifth year in a row Houston has hosted its event at the Golf Club of Houston. The Golf Club of Houston hosted the PGA Tour's Houston Open from 2003-19 as well as the 2021 Women's US Open Qualifier.
Texas Tech has participated in six tournaments this season. Its top finish was winning its home event (856, -8), the Red Raider Invitational. Its top finish away from home was a tie for fourth (849, -15) at the Jim West Challenge, hosted by Texas State. Both were contested in the fall.
The Red Raiders' home course, The Rawls Course, is one of six NCAA Regional sites this spring.
Texas Tech is led by head coach JoJo Robertson, who is in her 15th season at the helm. She is assisted by Anna Dong (hired on Aug. 27, 2024). Dong was the 2023 Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year who played five seasons for Robertson.
