One of 15 student-athletes nationwide selected to attend and vote at each of the past two NCAA Conventions ... represents one of three Big 12 student-athletes to represent the conference ... able to vote and discuss national issues with administrators from across the country during autonomy session ... attended the 2014 NCAA Convention in Washington D.C. and the 2015 event held in San Antonio, Texas ... the 2014 convention was best known for establishing cost of attendance measures for student-athletes ... was the first student-athlete to ever address the convention in 2014 ... helped pass legislation at 2015 convention that will allow high school baseball players to utilize agents when negotiating with major league franchises.
SENIOR SEASON (2017)
Played in 14 games, making one start in his final season in the scarlet & black ... recorded a .364 average at the plate, tallying four hits in 11 at-bats ... notched four RBI and picked up three free passes with two walks ... posted an RBI triple against Baylor on April 9 ... also had hits at Wichita State (3/24), at Kansas State (4/13) and at the Big 12 Tournament against West Virginia ... recorded a two-RBI knock against the Mountaineers in the contest.
JUNIOR SEASON (2016)
