A four-year letterwinner at Burnet High School for head coach Todd Doucet... batted .374 with 86 hits, 34 doubles, six triples, four home runs, six stolen bases and a .465 on-base percentage during high school career... also went 21-8 on the mound with five saves and a 2.35 ERA in 40 appearances with 195 strikeouts and 41 walks allowed during prep career... earned all-district and team MVP during career.
