A solid point guard who has great skills and feel for the game … Will add length, toughness and overall size to the Texas Tech backcourt … Played junior college for Steve Green, a two-time two-time NJCAA National Coach of the Year, at South Plains College … Team was ranked No. 1 in the nation for a majority of the 2016-17 season and earned a third-place finish at the 2017 NJCAA Championship … Registered 9.1 points, 7.1 assists and connected on 58.4 percent of his field goal attempts … His 241 assists and 4.4 assist-to-turnover ratio was second, while his 7.1 APG were ranked fourth in the NJCAA … Handed out 10-plus assists on six occasions headed by 18 assists at Bossier Parish (Nov. 25) … Reached double figures 17 times highlighted by a 23-point effort at Odessa (Feb. 9) … Proven winner who won a high school state championship at CBC High School in Missouri … Signed his National Letter of Intent (NLI) in November 2016.
