Competed in seven meets... finished 9th at the Bryan Clay Invite in the 1500m... took 2nd in the steeplechase at the Michael Johnson Invite... placed 1st in the 1500m in the Corky Classic to cap off her season.

Competed in four meets, running the 3000m, mile and 800m.
2021 OUTDOOR
Raced in five meets... Registered a PR in the 1500 (4:54.13) at the Masked Rider Open.
2021 INDOOR
Raced in four meets... Best finish came in the mile where she placed 5th at the Matador Qualifier.
2020 OUTDOOR
Season canceled.
2020 INDOOR
Ran in five meets in her second season ... opened with her first collegiate 1000m, where she ran 3:04.11 ... PR'd in the mile the following week, timing 5:26.76 ... placed third in the mile at the Matador Qualifier with a 5:30.35.
2019 OUTDOOR
Ran at six meets for Tech ... her season-best 1500m came at Baylor, where she ran a 4:57.49 to place 20th ... doubled in the 800m and 4x4 relay at ACU ... placed sixth in the 800m at the Fearless Champion Open.
2019 INDOOR
Ran in six meets in her first track season ... ran the 1000m to start, finishing fourth at the Corky Classic .. moved to the mile and 800m for the remainder of the season, where she PR'd in the latter at the Matador Qualifier with a 2:17.81.
PRIOR TO TECH
Distance runner from Brownwood … three-time state qualifier in the 800m … two-time qualifier in the state cross country meet … state qualifier in the 1600m and 4x400 … holds school record in the 800m (2:16.57), 1600m (5:22.44) and 4x400 (3:57.81) … Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State in 2017 and 2016 … Academic All-State in 2017.
PERSONAL
Born to Mark and Joanna Young … has one brother, Kalin … graduated Brownwood Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the National Honor Society … was vice president of the student council … was a UIL State Solo and Ensemble Finalist … majoring in Supply Chain Management.
