Advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 10,000-meter run...Big 12 5,000-meter run runner up...collected a total of five top-five finishes including two first place finishes...ran a season-best time of 4:38.93 in the 1,500-meter run to place second at the Texas Tech Open...ran a personal-best time of 16:03.42 in the 5,000-meter run to place second at the Big 12 Championships...ran a personal-best time of 33:08.70 in the 10,000-meter run to place 15th at the Stanford Invitational.
2012 INDOOR:
Competed in the 3,000-meter run and the 5,000-meter run...placed sixth overall in 5,000-meter run at the Big 12 Championships with a season-best time of 16.19.83...ran a season-best time of 9:34.85 to place fifth at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge in the 3,000-meter run.
2011 INDOOR
Two top five finishes in the 5000M, placing second at the Alex Wilson Invite (3/8/11) with a time of 16:19.78 and finishing fourth at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 16:23.96.

Won the Mountain West Indoor 5000M and Mountain West Outdoor 5000M and 10,000M.
CENTRAL ARIZONA
Claimed the Junior College National Championship in cross country in 2008 before earning runner-up honors in 2009 to lead the Vaqueras to the NJCAA Cross Country National Championship ... Tanui, who hails from Burt Forest, Kenya, also claimed national championship accolades in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters at Central Arizona in 2009 ... She has posted personal-best times of 16:54.04 in the 5,000 and 34:34.61 in the 10,000.
