LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raider basketball team continues its three-game season-opening homestand when it plays host to Florida A&M on Monday night. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. at United Supermarkets Arena.

EYEING THE OPPONENT
The Rattlers (1-2) come to Lubbock on the heels of a 103-54 win over Trinity Baptist on Friday, following losses to Jacksonville State and USC Upstate. Florida A&M has three players averaging double figures through three games, led by Kailya Jackson (15.0 points) who ranks fourth in the MEAC in scoring. The Rattlers are led by first-year head coach Kevin Lynum, who was promoted from an assistant coach role prior to the season.

- The Lady Raiders are scoring the ball with great efficiency through one game of action this season. Tech's field goal percentage of .523 ranks 10th nationally and second in the Big 12. The team's percentage from long range (.444) ranks 12th in the country and second in the conference. The Lady Raiders' 99 point scoring average after game one ranks third nationally, and Tech boasts two top-15 individual scorers.
