ABOUT THE LADY RAIDERS
Coming off their first win over TCU in Fort Worth in seven seasons, the Lady Raiders look to keep rolling this weekend against the Wildcats. Led by five players averaging double-figure scoring, Texas Tech is 12-1 heading into the third game of conference play, which marks the team's best 13-game start in eight seasons.

Senior Brittany Brewer leads Texas Tech, not only the national leader in blocks with 72 so far this season, but also the team leader in scoring (15.8 ppg) and rebounding (10.0 rpg). Reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Year Chrislyn Carr has been big for Tech as well in her sophomore season, having scored double digits in 10 of her last 11 appearances. UConn transfer Lexi Gordon has been a nice addition through seven games, coming off a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double at TCU. Freshman Alexis Tucker has been one of the best freshmen in the country this season, ranking second in the Big 12 in scoring (14.7 ppg and rebounding (8.4 rpg).

ABOUT THE WILDCATS
The Wildcats (6-6, 0-1 Big 12) enter Saturday's Big 12 road opener with an active five-game Big 12 road winning streak. K-State is looking to bounce back from a 74-63 home loss to No. 19 West Virginia in its Big 12 opener. The Wildcats are the only team in the nation with a pair of players to average a double-double this season, led by redshirt freshman center Ayoka Lee at 15.3 points on a .560 field goal percentage and 10.8 rebounds. Lee is also averaging 3.1 blocks. Head coach Jeff Mittie is in his sixth season in Manhattan.

The Lady Raiders were led by five double-digit scorers, including Jo'Nah Johnson who turned in her second 20-point outing of the season, along with six assists.

Lexi Gordon and Sydney Goodson each tallied 15 points playing close to their hometowns, with Gordon recording her second career double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Chrislyn Carr had 13 points on the night with three assists and three rebounds. Freshman Alexis Tucker finished just shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

After TCU cut the lead to one in the fourth, it was Chrislyn Carr that stepped up and hit a three pointer to stretch the lead back to 74-70 with under a minute left. It was Gordon, Johnson and Carr who iced the game at the free-throw line, with all three going 2-for-2 when getting the opportunity to keep the lead.
