LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team hosts its first outdoor meet of the season with the Masked Rider Open taking place Friday through Saturday at the Terry & Linda Fuller Track and Field Complex.
The throws portion of the meet begins Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. taking place right off fourth street, next to the National Ranching Heritage Center (3121 4th St, Lubbock, TX 79409).

On The Lookout
Just like last weekend, the entire throws crew is set to be back in action with at least one entry in each event. In the men's pole vault, Zach Bradford is poised to make his outdoor debut after his NCAA indoor run that saw him finished second with a lifetime best 5.91m (19-4 ¾).
Keyshawn King makes his TTU outdoor debut in the triple jump. The Stanford transfer finished fourth at the NCAA outdoor meet. Tech fans will also get a firsthand look at the Red Raider relay teams, especially the 4x100. On the 4x400 side, the women have three entries as the men have two entries.
