- For the fifth straight season, Texas Tech will travel to Medinah Country Club for Illinois' annual home event hosted in the fall.
- The Red Raiders' best finish over the previous four trips was a tie for fifth in 2022.
- The experience Texas Tech brings to the repeat event in 2025 includes:
- Maja Ambroziak - 2023: T-47th (+6), 2024: T-34th (-1)
- Klara Hurtova - 2023: T-69th (+11), 2024: T-52nd (+4)
- Lauren Zaretsky - 2022: T-13th (-7), 2024: T-23rd (-3)
- Last time out, Texas Tech won the Red Raider Invitational (876, +12), while Zaretsky earned her second career win.
- The Red Raiders roster overall returns six from their 2024-25 squad and welcomed three newcomers in freshmen Pia Eide (Norway) and Amy Squires (Australia), as well as transfer Denisa Vodickova (Wake Forest). Squires and Vodickova are the duo that joins the experienced Texas Tech trio this week, who have previously played the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah.
