NJCAA First Team All-Region V... helped        lead team to a 40-18 overall record and 24-8 record in league play while capturing the        NTJCAC regular season championship... LOUISIANA TECH UNIVERSITY
         Spent two seasons (2011-12) at Louisiana Tech receiving a medical redshirt (2011) and        playing one season (2012) for head coach Wade Simoneaux... as a redshirt freshman in 2012,        made 13 appearances (9 starts) with a 3-1 record, 5.71 ERA, 34.2 innings, allowed 43 hits        and 29 runs (22 earned) with 28 strikeouts and 17 walks... as a freshman in 2011, made two        appearances (both starts) with a 0-1 record, 6.23 ERA, 4.1 innings, allowing six hits and        three runs (all earned) with two strikeouts and three walks... suffered an injury and        received a medical redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL
         A four-year varsity letterwinner at Holliday High School for head coach Terry Wolf... as a        senior, went 8-1 with a 1.34 ERA while batting .476 with six home runs... first team        all-state... District 5-2A Most Valuable Player... first team all-district... as a junior        went 10-2 with a 1.76 ERA while batting .512 with 15 home runs... first team all-state...        district MVP... helped lead team to a state runner-up finish in 2009 as a junior... a        three-time all-district selection... named to Team Texas, Sunbelt Classic and the High        School All-Star team as a senior... also played linebacker on the gridiron where he was an        all-district and all-state selection.
PERSONAL
         Christopher Wade Sadberry... born November 8, 1991, in Wichita Falls, Texas... son of Wade        Sadberry and Melissa Sadberry... has an older sister, Emily... sister, Emily, played        college softball at Clarendon College... grew up and is close friends with former Texas        Tech right-handed pitcher Zach Stewart (2008), also from Holliday, who made his MLB debut        with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2011... a university studies major at Texas Tech.
            Sadberry was an All-Big 12 second team selection and a sixth-round MLB Draft pick by the Miami Marlins following his only season as a Red Raider in 2014.
