Threw the shot put in six meets ... season and career best came at the Red Raider Invitational, marking 56'-4.5" (17.18m) ... was his first throw over 17 meters in his career ... also went over 17 at the Texas Tech Shootout, landing one at 56'-0.5" (17.08m) ... missed scoring at the Big 12 Championships by one spot, placing ninth.ย

Competed in seven meets for Tech โฆ threw a personal best in the shot put of 55โ-1.5 at the TTU Masked Rider Open ... the Masked Rider Open and Michael Johnson Invite were two meets where Darrow placed second amongst the field of competitors โฆ was also apart of the Big 12 Championship menโs team title, just missing scoring with a 10th-place 52'-6.75" in the shot put.ย
2019 INDOOR
Threw in seven meets for Tech โฆ collected top-five finishes amongst the field in shot put four times during the 2019 indoor season ... was the runner up at the Texas Tech Classic in the shot put with a throw of 51โ-3.5" ... Darrow finished eighth at the Big 12 championship in the shot put with a throw of 54โ-1.25, his highest career finish at conference.ย

Competed in five meets โฆ first outdoor meet resulted in a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational โฆ recorded a PR of 16.50m/54โ-1.75โ at the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout โฆ won the shot put at the Texas Tech Masked Raider Invite with a 16.17m/53โ-0.75โ โฆ placed 11th at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.

Threw in six meets in his first time wearing the Red & Black โฆ landed a 15.68m/51โ-5.5โ in his first meet at the Red Raider Invitational โฆ highest finish was third at the Texas Tech Red & Black Open โฆ marked a season-best 16.09m/52โ-9.5โ at the Texas Tech Open.
