2019 OUTDOOR
Has vaulted in seven meets ... broke the outdoor school record two weeks in a row, starting with the Corky/Crofoot Shootout, where he cleared 18'-1.75" (5.53m) ... topped his own mark a week later at the Masked Rider Open, where he marked 18'-2.5" (5.55m) ... also won the pole vault at the Fearless Champion Open ... maxed out at 17'-2.75" (5.25m) at the Big 12 Championships to place fourth.
2019 INDOOR
Vaulted in all seven meets, going over 17 feet six times and 18 feet in two of his final three meets … qualified for nationals with an 18-0.5” (5.50m) at the Matador Qualifier before going 18’-3.75” (5.58m) at the Big 12 Championships to place third … the two jumps count for third and second in Tech history, respectively ... placed 13th at the NCAA Championships.
2018 OUTDOOR
Vaulted in seven meets … picked lone win of the spring at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational … finished second at the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout … vaulted a season-best 5.38m/17’-7.75” to place fourth at the Big 12 Championships … took 13th in the vault at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
2018 INDOOR
Vaulted in seven meets, racking up three wins … began winter with fourth-place finish at the Corky Classic … took first at the Texas Tech Classic … won the Texas Tech Open with a 5.39m/17’-8.25” … took second at the Texas Tech Shootout … won the vault at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier with a season-best 5.50m/18’-0.5” … placed sixth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.
2017 OUTDOOR
McMichael vaulted in nine outdoor meets for the Red Raiders, ending the season with an outdoor Texas Tech record height ... started his first two meets with first-place finishes at the UTSA Invitational (5.15m/16-10.75) and Wes Kittley Invitational (5.20m/17-0.75) ... at Texas Relays, McMichael took a No. 5 finish at 5.06m/16-7.25 ... his next personal-best was at the Texas Tech Red Raider Shootout, where he cleared 5.25m/17-2.75 that allowed him second-place ... McMichael moved his mark up again in the next two meets, the first being the Masked Rider Open where he hit a best of 5.32m/17-5.5 ... the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship is where McMichael had his lifetime-best performance, hitting four PRs before a final clearance of 5.51m/17-2.75 that matched the outdoor Texas Tech record height ... this mark ranked McMichael 10th in the nation heading into the preliminaries ... McMichael's season ended at the NCAA Division I West Preliminaries, where he finished 13th overall at a final height of 5.25m/17-2.75.

Competed in a total of six meets during the indoor season ... started off his competition for the Red Raiders with a personal-best at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational, clearing 5.03m/16-6 for fifth-place ... improved this mark again at the New Mexico Classic, where he took fourth-place at a final height of 5.10m/16-8.75 ... McMichael made his first 17-foot vault at the Dunamis Sports Group College Classic for first-place overall, clearing 5.20m/17-0.75.
AUBURN
Placed second in pole vault at the Georgia Invitational with a mark of 15’ 9’’… personal-best was recorded at the Conference Clash/Power 5 Invitational during the indoor season where he placed fourth clearing 16’ 2.75’’.
