Two-time NCAA Champion in the 100m and 200m, running the latter in a title-meet record 19.73 ... won the 100m title for the first time in his career with a 9.86, which tied the world lead at the time ... went sub-10 and sub-20 on the same day on three separate occasions, which has never been done before ... also helped 4x100 relay to a third-place finish with the shcool record of 38.45 ... owned the world's fastest time in the 200m at 19.76 (+0.8) earlier in the year at Baylor's Michael Johnson Invitational in April for a school record and the second-fastest time ever run by a collegiate ... at the same meet, he broke the 10-second barrier for the first time in his career, running a 9.94 (+0.8), also a school record ... went sub-10 again a month later at the Big 12 Championships at 9.99, becoming the first in conference meet history to do so while defending his title ... also ran the second leg of a 4x100 relay that ran a school-record and conference-meet record 38.83.
2019 INDOOR
The Bowerman candidate competed in six meets for the Red Raiders … held the world lead in the 200m at 20.08, which was set at the Big 12 Championships and lasted throughout the whole indoor campaign … also won the conference title in the 60m with a personal-best 6.52 … was a staple in the Red Raider 4x4, which cracked the program top-10 at the Texas Tech Classic after running a 3:05.81.
2018 OUTDOOR
Ran in seven meets for the Red Raiders, bringing home a national title to Lubbock … finished spring with five first-place finishes … began year by helping the 1600SMR team to a first-place finish at the Texas Relays … took second in the 200m at the Sun Angel Classic while helping the 4x100 team place first … won the 100m at the Michael Johnson Invite with a PR of 10.10 … won the 200m at the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Classic while helping the 4x100 team to another win … scored a combined 30 points for the Red Raiders at the Big 12 Championships with first-place finishes in the 100m, 200m and 4x100 … won the 200m at the NCAA West Preliminary … became the first Red Raider sprinter to win a national championship after running a 20.28 to win the 200m final of the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... also placed 11th in the 100m and 13th in the 4x100.
2018 INDOOR
Ran in six meets … picked up first of four wins at the Red Raider Invitational thanks to a 20.49 in the 200m … won both the 60m and 200m at the Texas Tech Open, recording a 20.18 in the latter which was a PR at the time … scored 18 points for Tech at the Big 12 Championships with a win in the 200m and a runner-up performance in the 60m …went on to place second in the 200m and sixth in the 60m at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
2017 OUTDOOR
Competed in four meets during the outdoor season, starting the year off at the Horned Frog Invitational in Fort Worth ... Oduduru ran the 200m dash in 20.45 for first at the meet and a sixth-place spot in the Big 12, while also contributing to the 39.40 4x100-meter relay for third ... at the Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco, Texas, Oduduru ran his first 100m dash of the season with a 10.10 time for first-place ... at the Texas Tech Red Raider Shootout, Oduduru improved his 100m time to 10.09 to take first at the meet and fourth in the Big 12.
