2016 OUTDOOR
Finished 39th at the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 5000 meters with a time of 14:58.55 ... entered the Prelims with a time of 13:58.56 in the men's 5000 meters, which ranked 30th in the region ... the time came at the Drake Relays on April 28 en route to a first-place finish on a cold night in Des Moines ... his other 5000-meter race came at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship on May 15, where he earned seventh and All-Big 12 accolades at 14:26.26 ... has also competed in a pair of 1500m and 3000m steeplechase races this outdoor season ... notched a PR in the "A" section of the 1500 meters at the Texas Relays on March 31 at 3:49.76 ... his top steeplechase mark came at the Mt. SAC Relays to a time of 8:54.75.
2016 INDOOR
Competed in the mile, 3000 and 5000 meters during the indoor season ... opened in the mile at the Texas A&M Quadrangular on Jan. 23 to a time of 4:15.03 ... returned the following week to a third-place finish in the 3000m at the New Mexico Team Invite at 8:34.27 ... improved upon that time at the Big 12 Indoor Championship at 8:19.90 ... worked a first-place finish in the 5000-meter run at the Music City Challenge on Feb. 12 at 14:31.31 ... earned All-Big 12 honors at the conference championship behind a personal-best 14:19.07 to finish eighth.
2015 CROSS COUNTRY
Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team ... was one of the top competitors for the Red Raiders during the cross country season ... led the team in three meets, beginning with the season opener four-mile at the Texas Tech Open to a time of 21:11.48 ... followed it up with a first-place overall finish at the ACU Classic Invite 6K at 18:46.45 ... his top 8K time came at the Bronco Invitational behind a time of 24:18.3 ... finished 37th at the Big 12 Championships at 25:49.1 ... represented Texas Tech at the NCAA Mountain Regional, where he placed 52nd after clocking in at 32:00.53 in the men's 10K.
2015 OUTDOOR
Racked up four top five finishes, including two first-place times during the outdoor season ... both event wins came at the Texas Tech Open in the 1500 meters (3:51.62) and the 2000-meter steeplechase (6:01.83) ... his best 1500-meter run time came at the UTSA Challenge by a shade faster at 3:51.59 ... earned All-Big 12 performer honors after placing fifth in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the conference meet behind a time of 9:19.72.
2015 INDOOR
Recorded three top nine finishes in the indoor slate of the season ... finished second in the 3000-meter run at the Masked Rider Open at 8:29.34 ... just missed out on All-Big 12 honors after placing ninth (5000 - 14:14.72) and 11th (3000 - 8:18.06) in his two events at the conference championships.
2014 CROSS COUNTRY
Suited up for all seven of Tech's major meets, and was the first Red Raider to cross the finish line each time ... He picked up three top-five finishes, including winning the hometown meet, the Red Raider Open, where he navigated the 8,000 meter course in 24:01.06 ... Placed 36th at the Big 12 Championships, finishing in 25:17.1.
2014 OUTDOOR
Between the 1,500 meters, 3,000 meters teeplechase and the 5,000 meters, won six different races in 2014 ... Won the 1,500 meters at the West Texas A&M Classic (3:50.32), Texas Relays (3:52.74) and the TTU Open (3:53.74), won the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Mt. SAC Relays (8:57.81) and the UTSA Invitstional (9:25.33) and won the 5,000 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays (14:05.35) ... Placed second in the steeplechase at the Big 12 Championships (9:21.65), and eventually qualified forthe NCAA West Preliminaries, where he took 30th (9:05.19).
2014 INDOOR
Only competed at two meets for the Red Raiders, but one of those was the Big 12 Championships, where he turned in All-Conference performances in the 3,000 meters (fifth place, 8:12.37), and the 5,000 meters (eighth place, 14:25.69).
Competed in the 1,500-meter run...clocked a personal-best time of 3:49.
SACHO HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in the 1,500-meter run and the 800-meter run...clocked a personal-best of 1:56 in the 800-meter run...clocked a personal-best of 3:51 in the 1,500-meters.
