2008 OUTDOOR: Competed in two meets ... finished fifth in the ACU Invitational with a mark if 16:42.76. 2008 INDOOR: Competed in three meets ... finished eighth in the 5000M at the Texas Tech Invitational with a mark of 16:16.93. 2007: Redshirted 2006 OUTDOOR: Ran a personal best in the 3000M at the Wes Kittley Open with a time of 9:32.65... clocked a time of 16:13.59 in the 5000M at the ACU Open, setting a new personal mark. 2006 INDOOR: Ran a 9:28.07 in the 3000M at the Wes Kittley 6Way, a new personal best, and a 16:20.91 in the 5000M at the Wes Kittley Open.
2005 OUTDOOR:Established a personal best of 4:23.70 in the 1500M at the ASU Relays...ran a personal-best 9:35.47 in the 3000M at the Wes Kittley Open...set a personal best in the 5000M at the TCU Invitational with a time of 16:37.12.
2005 INDOOR: In the 3000M, clocked a career-best time of 9:41.93 at the Wes Kittley Classic ... ran a 10:00.64 at the Wes Kittley All-Comers ... in the 5000M, ran a 16:39.46, a career-best, at the Wes Kittley Invite.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2004 graduate of Groesbeck High School ... two-year regional team qualifier in cross country ... four-year individual regional qualifier.
PERSONAL: Born 1-21-86 to parents Daniel Ayala and Tracey Vasquez ... one of four children ... majoring in exercise sport science.
